I am thankful for every closed door!

I am thankful for all the NOs I received in the past.

I am thankful for all the employers who turned down my applications in the past; I would have missed the opportunity to do what I love doing best.

Dear Ms Kewan, thank you for your application, unfortunately, the post has already been filled. However, you should maintain contact in case other possibilities come up.

At some point I thought God must be deaf of hearing or something. I received a couple of Nos

Hi Mildred,

thanks for your message.

I’m sorry but a few weeks ago we have found someone, after a long search.

Will definitely keep your contact, just in  case…

good luck!

For everyclosed door there has been a lesson to learn. I learnt to live a life of complete trust and dependence on God. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…

For some closed doors, I learnt better ways of doing it all over

yet for other closed doors, I discovered the hidden talents in me, cuz I to think out of the box.

I am most thankful when i was denied the entry clearance into the UK back in 2008, I would never have considered being in Belgium and consequently would have missed out on a lot of goodies.

Can you think of one thing you prayed, fasted trusted God but the answer was a resounding NO? Back then it probably didn’t make sense to you but today you must be happy you got a No. This is an encouraging note to you my friend; be thankful for every closed door. That relationship didn’t work out, be thankful that door was closed; God just saved you from a possible disaster in the future. I am so thankful for all the closed doors of yesterday. I started blogging as a result of some closed doors and today I love the experience and the wonderful community of bloggers. #Notetoself#

Everything works together for good for those…
