Hello Lovelies, what about starting the week with some healthy fat-free muffins? Something sweet yet not heavy laden with butter and oil. Who could believe you could make muffins without oil, well that is what my kitchen does. Trying out recipes and if it tastes great why not? Trust me I will never share anything that doesn’t taste great on this space.
Okay, zeroing down to these fat-free muffins, had a lovely family visiting us last December, we spent the holidays with lots of feasting and baking. Lord, this sweet lady can bake! Talking about blessings that come when you welcome people into your home, she was a huge blessing. I polished up my baking skills, this time around under the supervision of a professional.
Will you call this muffins or cupcakes? I know I can’t be the only one who has been asking the difference between muffins and cupcakes.
I always wondered why one will be called muffins and another cupcake, so hear expert opinion on the matter:
Muffins are usually more healthy and bread like in texture, it is less dense, less sweet than cupcakes. Traditionally, they are good to go without frosting. I love the fact that these goodies are completely fat-free, which makes for guilt-free eating. They are fluffy, not too sweet yet so flavorful. Because they are so light, unintentional overeating is very possible. haha, one member of my family is so guilty of this. That particular family member wants me to bake muffins often. I don’t mind baking, though, but I got other things coming.
