Grapefruit juice is the perfect drink you want to consume to ensure a good healthy system.  I am loading myself with lots of freshly squeezed homemade juices. Pineapple juice, lemons, oranges, mangoes and now the recent love of my life grapefruit juice. There are a hundred reasons everyone should be consuming grapefruit juice. The fruit has low calories but abundantly packed with nutrients. By the way, if you are on a weight loss diet then this is a juice you should incorporate into your meal plan.

Grapefruit, pamplemousse in French, is an excellent source of vitamins A and C. Grapefruits have a high amount of fiber which helps to boost our metabolic rate. A chilled glass of this homemade grapefruit juice convinces me that I am some kind of way keeping my system healthy ha. There is nothing better than starting the day with a glass grapefruit juice and ending the day with another glass. And if you feel your system is sluggish, then you need some kind of detox. Grapefruits taste great in any detox water concoction you can ever think of.

So this is how I put this goodness together:

Wash grapefruits and cut into two equal halves. With the help of a citrus juicer, squeeze out the juice into a cup.

I love to add some ginger juice, like a tablespoon of freshly squeezed ginger. You can also throw in some mint leaves. Mint is a natural sweetener, but if you opt for a sweeter taste, then drizzle some honey in there.
